Wednesday Order of Play Highlights
Number 1 seed Paul Capdeville is in action again on Wednesday, facing Gary Lugassy of France. The feature match at 5:30 PM pits Jesse Witten (USA) against wild card entrant Nathan Healey. Witten is a former standout from the University of Kentucky, where he reached the NCAA Championship finals. Healey has had past success in Binghamton, advancing to the third round in 2006, and reaching the semi-finals in 2004.
The local doubles team of William Mendler and Kris Shumway, wild card entrants, will face off against the number 1 seeded team of Lukas Dlouhy (CZE) and Tomas Zib (CZE). Mendler and SHumway are from Towanda Pa.
